With effect from 25 June, there will be some changes to the asylum procedure. The purpose of these is to enable more efficient processing of the asylum applications by the IND.
These are changes in the application stage, termination of the initial interview (to remove the overlap with the application interview), introduction of a flexible general asylum procedure (the AA+) and implementation of several technical adjustments. This will enable the IND to process asylum applications more efficiently. The changes are included in the Aliens Decree (Vb). Read more >
